Isaiah 55 :10-11
For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.
As it is in the natural, so it is in the spiritual. God has provided his word to be a nourishment to our lives, just as food is to our flesh. It satisfies, fuels, and replenishes. Pastor Winston often says, the determining factor of your output is only as good as your intake. If you have a nominal portion of word, the strength will be weak. Therefore we are unable to produce, grow, fertilize, and go into new territories. God has provided us to rise as high and deep as a sequoia or redwood. Rooted and taking nourishment from the water of the land, He is the river of flowing water that gives life to the seed He has sown.
God pours water on land that is dry and thirsty to receive. Are you thirsty? Do you seek the face of God? He has a verse that states that if we seek first the Kingdom of God, all the desires of our heart will be given to us. As opposed to seeking our desires and thanking ourselves for receiving them, we must and only do the works of the Lord. For the earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof, and if God is a jealous God, we should not take credit for anything He has created and provided.
I like many of you are seeking the face of God. I seek to be better, but most importantly change my perspective on life about Him and His works. To be honest, I want to be engrossed in God. I’m tired of sticking my toe in the water of the Kingdom and I’m ready to be emerged into the fullness and the life God has called me to. I wish I could tell you I have been like this since I was a child, but that would be a lie. I am quite tired of trying things my way. Falling does not feel good, and the way of the transgressor is hard, so hard. I didn’t always cross my legs and wear pointed toe shoes, and read the WSJ, it was a process! Such as professionalism is a process, so are the works and the anointing of our Father. I’m learning to read with God, write with God, and walk with God.
I want to believe that God is not A source, but He is the ONLY source. The alpha and omega, the Word, the Way, the Truth, and the Light. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God, and the Word was with God. So, if I have His word, I have Him.
I am NOT perfect, but I am delivered. I am NOT claiming to be God, but ye are gods and I’m a joint heir with Christ. These things I have spoken and they are confirmed through the word of the Lord. I pray that all have had enough of the superficial thrills of life and what they have to offer, and submerge into the fullness of God. There is where you find perfect peace beyond understanding. He will lead us into a life of no toil, and understanding.
I decree and declare unspeakable peace, purpose fulfillment, light, and joy into every situation. He will provide, if we only trust him COMPLETELY and lean not on our own understanding.
