The Power of Prayer

The sun is always shining above the clouds, always. The clouds that block us from the Father may be that of condemnation, guilt, worthlessness, and doubt.

Jesus said,  “I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him”.

The prayers of the righteous availeth much! I plan this week, to create my own prayers from scripture and implement them in my life. What are you in need of? What are we asking from God? Is it aligned with His will? How do we know His will for our lives? The word of God! It can come in a still voice and confirmed through scriptures or simply a friend.

The just shall live by faith(Habukkuk 2:4). LIVE, that is such a revelation for me. If we want the desires of our heart we must eat, sleep, drink from God’s table. I’ve found myself only using faith for the ‘major’ happenings in my life, but that is not the way God has designed His children. “You will decree a thing and it will be established for you and light will shine on your ways”.

Speak and walk in the favor of the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing the word of God. There is a power in our speaking our thinking and of course our doing. For faith without works is dead.

When we are up in the clouds living our best day, or down in the dumps, remember prayer. Prayer has allowed me to see another day, another promotion, greater health, better relationships…Not just MY prayers, but I had a family that prayed for me when I wasn’t Christ centered.

Pray today and watch God change things for you and I!

Have a blessed week!

  1. Great post!

  2. Thank you, that was uplifting. I’ve seen how constant prayer, for even the little things has made such a difference in my life. I truly have a relationship with God, and have become more connected through my prayer life.
